One day she was fine; the next day dying. Annie\'s doctor said we should all hope that when it is our time, it comes on as suddenly as this and I guess he is right. She did not suffer for long. She had 10 1/2 years of being loved and giving love. She was my partner and loved her job of visiting the hospitals and cheering children for the past 6 years. We were an amazing team! At home, my husband and Annie were walking partners; they did their exercise together and both looked forward to it. They also had a nightly ritual. She would watch for that special look my husband gave her when he was ready for playtime. She would run to get a toy for him to throw. After she got tired of playing, she would lay down next to him on the floor for cuddling and love. We all had a great 10 1/2 years. It is so hard when such good times end all too early. We will always remember this lovely girl who brightened our lives with such joy.
