Guestbook for Annie
Posted By Pam Becker on May 19 2016
I remember when I first met Annie. She was a delightful puppy; very active and friendly. Jean was the best mom ever; she knew that Annie would make a wonderful therapy dog and did everything to support Annie in that endeavor. Annie was such a beautiful dog. And people loved to pet and love her. She also was a "chow hound", always looking for a treat! So made so many kids smile with her visits. Annie's sudden loss is devastating. I wish there was a way that I could comfort Jean as much as I know she needs it. Run free beautiful Annie.

Annie was one of our wonderful therapy dogs at Kaiser Permanente Irvine & Anaheim Medical Centers. I fell in love with Annie as soon as I met her! Who could resist her beautiful "smile" & friendly, loving personality?! She & Jean were a super team who brought so much joy, love & comfort to everyone. Our hearts are sharing your loss of this beautiful girl. I will love her forever.

Jean, I am so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your precious Annie. I remember meeting Annie when Callie and I volunteered at a Kaiser Fun Fair for the pediatric cancer patients in Anaheim a few years ago. Annie was so sweet! Annie and Callie had the best time with the kids! I hope you can find comfort in all your special memories of Annie and in knowing that she touched the lives of so many. Sending you my deepest sympathy and love.

Annie was such a beautiful, happy dog, with her smiling face and her soft coat. It's no wonder that the children loved to have her visit them. She was taken too early, as many of the very good dogs seem to be, and I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Gran and Grandpa, I'm really sorry for your loss. I know how much Annie meant to you and allot of other people. Annie also meant a lot to me and my family! Every time I herd my family and I we're going to California I would always look forward to seeing Annie, and pet her, and cuddle with her! It's really sad they put her to sleep but it was the right thing to do. We'll all miss her but most importantly we have memories with Annie and we will remember those days for a really long time! Love Talia Arovas

I was so sad to hear about Annie. I remember when I would come to visit California. Annie would always greet us. I also remember going on long walks with Annie. She would always snuggle with us and curl up at our feet. I wish I could be with you now, Gran and Grandpa. Love, Gabriella

I was so sad to hear about Annie. Last time I was in California, I remember Annie greeting my family at the door so excited to see each of us. Then when I would go in the car Annie would lay on my lap until it was time to get out of the car. I would pat her and she made me feel so happy when I was around her. Everyday I loved playing and snuggling with her. One of my favorite things was when grandpa and I would let her off her leash once she got home from her morning walk and we would watch her race up and devour her food. Sometimes she would almost finish before I got upstairs. I'm so glad that Annie helped many people with her therapy training! I still can't get over that she had to be put asleep and now I wish I got to see her once more. I will always remember Annie and all the memories she made with my family. Love, Alexander Arovas

Jean and Bob, we know there is an "Annie" sized hole in your hearts, and we are so sorry for your loss of this dear companion and fur child. Annie was a delight and a source of joy for the two of you and for countless children and adults who she served as a therapy dog, greeted on her walks, or allowed to pet and cuddle her. Dog is "God" backwards for a reason. Dog owners are seldom atheists, as we get to experience the wonder of their unconditional love firsthand. So happy you got to share in that bounty for 10 1/2 years. Annie will be waiting to greet us all one day. We know that for sure because if there are no dogs in heaven, it wouldn't be "heaven" would it? Love, and Blessings, Toni and Garry

Dear Jean – I know your heart is breaking without sweet, loving Annie by your side. You both were a wonderful part of our pet therapy program at CHOC Mission – you helped Annie work her magic with the children and it warmed my heart to watch you. Every time I saw Annie, her smile made me smile – you could see in her face how much she enjoyed each day. I’m glad all of my dogs were able to meet her over the years. Even when at the park, Annie would look up at your face with so much love – yours is a bond that won’t be broken. As I said to you the day Annie passed, I believe there must be a special spot in Heaven for therapy dogs – they touch the lives of so many people & bond so closely with their human.... I like to think of them sitting on a beautiful grassy hill together, greeting each new therapy dog that arrives after "a job well done" - And they each wait to greet their beloved human when our time comes to join them. I pray that time will help you focus on the happy times you shared with Annie and how, together, you made our world a better place. With much sympathy & love, Janell Jenna, Sadie, Fynn & Piper
