It seems such a short time ago that you found me to come home with...you were under a car on Vineland, I was walking home from Target. When I tried to chase you away you went into the street, and when we yelled "NO!" you came trotting back. You accompanied me home and put your head in my lap on the porch at Riverton, and that was it, we were meant to be. I will miss whispering secrets in your ear, and getting wet sloppy kisses. I will miss your body leaning against mine for support when your legs were no good. I will miss the look on your face with your eyebrows knitted, like you were trying to communicate by mental telepathy. I will miss you, my sweet Catahoula Greater Swiss Mountain Dog.
