She may look like just a dog to you But you don't see what I see She has been my sweet little girl and she meant the world to me... Just a happy, pretty face A rescued dog at that But she's the one who rescued me Truly that's a fact!... She helped me in a special way That I cannot explain Yep and even my Sandre Dee Did not like the rain... She was my little canoodler She was my shoulder to cry on She listened to my every word And she I could rely on... She never wasted a moment Of our time together No matter what, Sandra Dee Saw me through all kinds of weather... When I needed to talk to someone She did not email or text message me She was right here with soft spoken eyes That just a mommy could see... I know some will not get it She's just a dog after all Well you would be mighty wrong She was the only one there when I'd fall... I took her in my loving arms I said I love you so I told her I was sorry Then I let my Sandra Dee go... We will meet again oh precious one.
