2002, I saw you outside the takeout restaurant, your head was down, you walked very slowly, dirty, matted, limping. I thought you were an elderly dog. I picked you up and you just laid still in my arms. I rushed you to the vet, and about an hour later took you home. You met Riley, our other rescue dog, and you perked up instantly and transformed into the young dog you actually were, all those 15 years ago when we found each other. You are with Riley now, playing like old times. We will see you one day, and all our other animals who have passed on. You, Riley, Bear-Dog, Toby, Petey...you will all come running to us when it's our time, and we will all cross over the Rainbow Bridge together and play once again. We love you. We miss you.
