I adopted my beautiful Cali 16 years ago, when she was 1 year old. What an amazing blessing. Cali was a perfect combination of sweet and feisty. She was by my side thru tremendous happiness and grief. Some of my favorite memories with Cali include our many family trips to Palm Springs, Texas, long walks by the ocean bluffs in Palos Verdes and Cali as our Maid Of Honor in our beach wedding in Laguna Beach and her excitement whenever I walked in the door. She was my best friend until the very end. She was calm and peaceful and brought that to me when I could not find it for myself. I thank God for her presence in my life and for all of the beautiful memories that I will always hold near to my heart. I love you Cali Girl.
