We adopted Marley in January of 2005 at age 5. It wasn't too long before she became best buddies with our other lab, Boomer. Marley loved to carry around tennis balls, and she also loved dirty socks! Her favorite "people food" was cheese. She had a very deep voice, and when you rubbed her ears, she gave a deep growl of pleasure. She liked to lay, sphinx-like, with her paws hanging out the open patio door, just feeling the air. Marley was not well socialized before she came to us, so it was hard to take her outside of her comfort zone. But she was content to be at home with her family, and she was always friendly and sweet to us, and to anyone who came to visit. Marley died peacefully at home in February 2013.
