For two nights I heard you calling out but I could not find you. On the third night you came right up to me, just a kitten alone on the streets, I fed you and said you were welcome to stay if you wanted. You did. We played a lot! I never saw a cat run up a wall so far to chase a feather on a string. You were a mighty Hunter, so many mice, so many birds. Some I was able to save- all gifts of love. I hope you know how much I loved you. Thank you for letting me be your human for awhile. I miss you, Alex.
