I never thought i would see the day where you were no longer you No longer running No longer the leader of the pack The one who would usher everyone to go faster Your little legs moving like lightening Oh boy you ran straight into our hearts It wasn't hard for us to fall for you The first time we saw you You were a chubby 6month old baby A free spirit running Beach blvd So scared so absolutely beautiful You would sag in your skin when we picked you up early in the morning You would curl up under the swing set and spend your days with Tony and at the end with Copper Time was speeding past us so fast 16.5 years blurred by I didn't even realize how fast you were growing up I wouldn't let anyone call you old you were and always will be my baby.
