When I first saw you at the shelter, I knew you were the one I had been looking for. You jumped to the door of the cage to try to get to me. When we took you out of the cage, you jumped into my lap and kept trying to get to my face. Truthfully, it was hard for the first couple of weeks I had you. We were both still trying to figure each other out at home. But for the last two years, you became my best friend, my confidant and my family. We were inseparable. It's been so hard being away from family and friends, but you helped me through all that. You were truly God sent. Did you know, that I thanked God everyday for blessing me with you. Even when I was at work I missed you Maestro, I am sorry I couldn't be there when you went away. It was my worst nightmare come true. I miss you so much. I would give anything to have you back. Melody misses you too..I think...or maybe she likes having all the food to herself. It's so hard without you Maestro. I am praying I get to see you again one day.
