Dearest Buddha,

Sixteen years. It's hard to believe it's been that long since you were a tiny ball of fluff gracing my life with your presence. Thank you for blessing me with all your love, purrs, and moments of pure cuteness. There were times I may not have been the perfect guardian, but please know my love for you was boundless. Every day, I tried my best to give you a happy and fulfilling life.

The silence in the house is deafening without your soft meows and the pitter-patter of your paws. I miss you terribly, Buddha. I hope you've found Serena and Shizen again, and you're all frolicking and playing together in that peaceful place beyond the rainbow bridge.
