Dear Pam & Mike: I am so sorry to hear of Abby's passing. I had never had the opportunity to meet her but I always heard wonderful things about her & knew she was something truly special just from the way Pam's face lit up when she mentioned her name. May her memory bring you comfort in this difficult time. Sincerely, Barbara & Duncan

Oh, my gosh, Pam, I just saw your e-mail and I am so sorry it took me so long. I was swamped and didn't understand what had happened. I am so very sorry. We have been through this so many times that we know each time doesn't get any easier. Our hearts go out to you and Mike and Abby. Abby is absolutely precious, what a great photo and you are so right about her beautiful expressive eyes. There is no doubt that she had an important mission in her life that was entwined with yours. Many prayers and positive thoughts are going out to you and Mike from here. Jean and Michael Bland PS We are still using the dog food you recommended for our elderly guy Zeus. He loves it and it's so full of wonderful healthy ingredients. We are very grateful to you for bringing it to our attention.

We will miss Abby forever. She was such a special girl. "The Face" brought many smiles and wags to us. We hope that she and Al will love their doggy explorations over the rainbow as they wait to be reunited someday with Mom and Dad.

You know how sorry I am about Abby's going to the Bridge much, much too early. Been there myself, with the same damned disease, and it's horrible. I'll always remember the tail tie with her and Fly ... and much utter joy she brought you both. Till you meet again ...

We know how much you are grieving for your beautiful Abby. She was always such a good girl for her grooming and we always looked forward to seeing her along with both of you! Please know that we, too, will miss her and we hope that your broken hearts will soon mend and fill with all of the happy memories that Abby left for you.

Pam, My heart is full of gratitude to you and Abby. My first mentoring visit as I started pet therapy was watching you and Abby on a rest-home visit. I still remember all the smiles that she brought to the residents faces. Her loving and gentle nature will not be forgotten. Your team work with Abby was certainly an inspiration to me. My thoughts are with you, Love Heather

Yes that face. We always saw a little Tibetan in that face no matter what the DNA tests said. I was so proud and happy to have you in SMMC pet therapy program. You made a lot of people happy. Rest well.

Sweet Abby...those eyes!!! They break my heart, but they have mended so many other hearts. You have brought so much joy! You are intensely loved, still. Your Therapy continues.

When our best friend takes leave of this world the emotional burden is often more than we can bear. I cannot take that burden from you. I can only send my love and empathy. Abby took her last look into your loving eyes with her soft sweet eyes on July 10th. Now she is happy and healthy and playing with Alex and Meg. I wholeheartedly believe we will all be reunited and their souls are happy and watching over us always. The world is empty without their personalities and love. They make us who we are. They bring out the best in ourselves and they make us so happy. That’s why their loss is so deep and sad because our love is so strong. You will see their eyes and smell their memorable scent in those left behind as they fill in the holes that they left. They have not left, they did not die. You will feel them and see them if you only look. Open your hearts and always remember and keep looking for the memories they’ve left behind. It will get easier. You are not alone. All my love always, Linda

Breaks my heart. I got tears in my eyes, but then felt better when I realized our Bud and Bing are with Abby and Al.

What a beautiful girl; such gorgeous eyes. You were truly blessed to have such a loving friend as Abby. God gave us pets to help us with our daily problems and Abby was there for you without asking anything in return - oh maybe a hug or a slurp - but what she gave in return cannot be measured.

Although I never knew Abby she looks like the kind of dog who touched everyone and especially you and your family. How wonderful that you shared her with those in need. What an awesome tribute to Abby!
