Copper was a brave cat with a sunny disposition. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Copper was a stray that I found living under a truck. I fed her for three weeks twice a day but she remained super thin. Becoming overly concerned about her I brought her to the vet and she was diagnosed with worms, flea infestation, rotting teeth, and the beginnings of kidney malfunction. I brought her into my home and knowing her transformed my attitude about the basic comforts. She was so sweet knowing she no longer had to worry about getting food and having a warm place to sleep. I made the arrangements for the necessary dental work and the vet called during the surgery and said she had a tumor that would require half her jaw to be removed and there was a 90% chance it would reoccur. There really wasn't a choice because she was 12 years old and already facing kidney disease. Plus can you imagine the recovery from having your jaw partially removed. I haven't stopped missing Copper (named so because she was sunbleached). She was a courageous and sweet cat.
