Guestbook for Monk
Posted By Pam Becker on May 01 2013
Oh how wonderful he looked walking down the hospital corridors. A magnificent, confident, beautiful boy with a sensitive soul. People he visited were in awe of him - he reflected the gentleness of his handler and the two of you are kindred spirits and always will be. I will never forget him, Teri. Never. It was a pleasure knowing this gentle boy. My heart goes out to you - he was your "forever dog". He was special.

Oh Terri I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember your beatiful Monk - it breaks my heart to think of him as gone. He truly was a gift - a once in a lifetime dog.

Terri, I am stunned by the loss of Monk. You two were such a tremendous team that touched so many here at the hospital. I had a particular fondness for Monk as well; it always brightened my day to see you in our corridors. I still have his picture on my desk (where it will stay). I send you hugs and strength during these next weeks. Over time, I know your thoughts will be able to focus on the joy he provided to so many and the blessing he was to have had.

Oh, Teri, I am so so sorry and heartbroken to hear about Monk's passing. Such and incredible and beautiful dog- inside and out! He was so special, and every single patient, family member and staff person who had the pleasure of meeting him will never, ever forget him. Personally, I will never forget the first time I met him. Our eyes met, and he just knew that I was slightly anxious about large black dogs. He held eye contact with me, bowed his head just a little, then tilted his head to the side and smiled at me, with his tongue out. And that was it! I was in love! He was so gentle, in a way only the strong and powerful really can be. I can't begin to imagine how sad you are just now, but I hope that all the love we have for Monk and for you will help just a little. Sending prayers and love, ~Conni

Dear Teri - My heart is breaking for you - I know how devastated you must be at the loss of your beautiful Monk. He was so regal and calm while providing pet therapy to all that he met - always improving their day with his loving nature. It was an honor over the years, for Jenna and I to know and work with both of you; such an outstanding team. Thank you for all that you have done and for touching so many lives - I will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time.
