I love you Smokey. Together since I was 4 years old and now I'm 27. You lived in 4 different decades. I couldn't have asked for a better companion. I take comfort in our bond and knowing you lived the best life a cat could live.

It's weird not having you around. I still have your bed and everything set up. I was just remembering all those times you brought it half eaten mice or birds back from your days out on the trail. You were such a mouser. And even at 23 you were still as perky as can be. We have so many memories I can't even count them. I guess that shows a lot. I love and miss you very much.

I miss you so much buddy. You were there for me to the end. I hope I was able to do the same for you. It's hard to take coming home and not having you there. At the same time, the joyful memories outweigh the pain and I know I will see you again. I hope you are enjoying for new body and your new legs. I love and miss you always.
