I loved our girl from the day I first saw her in Colorado, until the day we had last hugs together. Her tail never stopped wagging. May the Lord keep her with all her canine buddies.

Loved the poem written by Uncle Bob!!! We are going to miss Sassy so much! We still haven't had the heart to tell the kids. We will tomorrow and they will love the pictures!! So glad Sassy spent a week with us last month. Thanks Kathy for sharing her with us!!!

I remember her at Thanksgiving several years ago lying, rear legs splayed, directly in the kitchen entrance. That was as close to the action she could get. She always wanted to be part of the where you were. Sassy Lu will be missed.

She was an exceptional dog! We see Sassy Jr. in her: headstrong and sweet at the same time! We are really fortunate to have three of Sassy's grandchildren nearby, and Charley is a joy to us.

I will miss my Sassa-A-Fras. I will miss her hugs. I will miss her cute little moan that she made when you scratched her just right. I will miss her funny way she laid down with her legs straight back. I will remember the winter she stayed with us, and how we "runined" her from being an outside pet. The cuddles on the couch. The sleeping on the bed, and the snuggles when it was cold. I love you Sas!!! I'm sure she is chasing that darn tennis ball in heaven having a great time.

Sassy-Lu was part of the family spirit that binded everyone. She'll be sorely missed. She was still singing with joy to see you even her last week...But her spirit will live on thru her siblings and our hearts. Take care Kathy and Bob too.

Ol' Sassy Girl brought a great deal of pleasure to all who interacted with her. I always enjoyed watching her achieve flight and splashing down in the pool in hot pursuit of "Ball". Sassy-Lu, you will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.

I'm totally in tears right now. I'm so sad to hear this, she was such a cool dog. I remember when I came to visit you once and you weren't there yet and Sassy was at the front window talking away, she was such a talker, I would love to know what know what she was saying. Sassy had a great life living with you, and she was definately spoiled rotten, but thats our job isn't it? Dogs have such short lives, but they bring us so much love and happiness, it's so worth it. Some days I feel like sitting in a box full of Golden Puppies, there's nothing like it. I will miss Sassy, hopefully she is playing ball with BC Bear. Bye Sassy.

Sassy was a friend to my sister Kathy for her entire life. In addition to her daily routines, Sassy ran along side my sister who was riding her jazzi on their daily stroll. Sassy loved anything to do with people - she thought she was people and acted as people. We will look back on Sassy's life with a smile.

I hope Taisho was at the Golden Gates to meet Miss Sassy. He would take care of her for sure. We still miss Tai and will miss Sass too, only wish we had more time with both of them. Aloha nui loa

Sassy will forever be in our hearts. We are so sad and will cherish all our wonderful memories of her. We see her every day in her baby boy Cooper. He looks so much like his momma and has her same sweet temperment and personality. Always ready for fun! Did someone say let's go for a swim?. . . or where's the ball?!!!

Dear Kathy & Bob... Words are never enough at times like this, and you both have my deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved, Sasserooo. I loved her the minute I saw her and knew she was special...for the show ring and -- your hearts. She was so amusing as she tried to be both regal (subtle) yet sneaky in her quiet manipulations for what she wanted. A true and beautiful princess in every sense! God bless you, and may your memories of her gentle spirit warm your heart during these difficult days. Much love. xox Sharon

So sorry to hear of Sassy's passing. We used to see you at Parks in the afternoon from time to time, often with a new puppy or two. Luci, my black lab would race you in a game of chase the ball. We have moved from Fullerton, but those afternoons at Parks and the people and dog friends we made are very special to us. I hope Sassy is running with Blue, Big Bear and Little Bear, who also have leaft our group but continue to hold places in our hearts.
