As a therapy dog, Missy touched so many children's lives. She helped them learn to read and, more importantly, she taught them that they did not need to fear a big, black dog. She was so gentle and loving with the kids. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The intensity of my sorrow cannot be described. Seeing her each day brightened my spirits and no dog had a happier life! She did not fear or dwell on her illness as she always maintained her spirit of a wagging grateful tail. She will dream of her wonderful days on earth and the love of her daddy. I will cherish her memory as a gift she gave me especially - an immortal legacy of a true friend that will never be absent from my heart.

Missy was such a wonderful dog. She was loving, very smart and gentle. I was lucky to spend some time with her when Chris would bring her to work at the Orange County Register. She always greeted every one who walked by with a happy wag. Missy was always also VERY interested in what everyone was eating that day. I will greatly miss that sweet girl!
